Theodore Roosevelt was sworn-in as the 26th President of the United States, and Charles Fairbanks was sworn-in as the 26th Vice President of the United States.

Sunny with strong northwest winds. Patches of snow remained on the ground from a snowfall the day before. Estimated noon temperature of 45°F.

Bible:

Same Bible used when Roosevelt was sworn in as Governor of New York in 1898, open to James 1:22-23.
